Verification standard
Every listing is reviewed against the same documented checks before it goes live. Here is exactly what we check, how listings are labelled, and what verification does not mean.
What we check
Legal name, registration, ownership and the people responsible.
The licence for the activity, checked on the regulator's public register, or the exemption relied on.
Information memorandum, terms and subscription documents are complete and consistent.
Every fee is listed: entry, management, performance, exit and any others.
Key risks are stated clearly, and the listing says where the money goes.
Any target return shows how it is defined and calculated, and is labelled as not guaranteed.
Labels
Passed the documented checks. The review date is shown on the listing.
Announced only. Terms and return targets are not published until verified.
Paid placement, clearly labelled. The same checks apply; sponsorship is not endorsement.
The re-review date has passed. The listing is withheld until it is reviewed again.
